We are thrilled to announce that Kathryn Ruch will be returning to the Hammerheads as Head Coach for her second season!!! If you were part of the Hammerheads family last year, you know what a great coach she is!!! We will also be welcoming back last year's Assistant Coaches - Catherine Miller and Sean McNally.
We will follow a practice schedule similar to prior years - from May 20st until school is out, practice will be held every day in the afternoon. Beginning Monday June 17th, practices will be by age group in the morning and there will be one evening practice for all ages for those who cannot make it to practice in the morning (working parents, summer camp, etc.) The specific times will be posted under "Practice Schedule" on the website when available.
Non-Residents - Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept applications for swimmers living outside of the neighborhood this year. This is a change from previous years.
2013 Late Fees - A $25 late fee will be assessed after May 1st, and a $50 late fee will be assessed after May 20st. These fees are in place to encourage on-time registration as we have to report our swim roster and pay our league fees by early May.
6 & Under Swimmers - We will not accept any swimmers age 6 or younger after May 20st, the first day of practice. These young swimmers need every day of practice those first few weeks so we will not accept any registrations after the first practice. Additionally, if after two weeks, in the opinion of the coaching staff, your child is not considered water safe, they will be asked to try out for the team at a later date after they have received additional swim lessons. A full refund of your registration costs will be provided.
13-14 Swimmers - We have maintained our low fee of $35 for our swimmers age 13-14.
15-18 Swimmers - We have maintained our $0 fee for our swimmers age 15-18.
